To my perception, photography is the result of careful observation. Therefor I prefer cycling to fast motorcars. It gives one the time to observe ones surroundings. Moreover, the procedure of making stops in order to take photographs is a much safer one. Beside that, one will easily get to know the inhabitans.
Trekking requires a good health, reliable equipment and knowlege of navigation. To be save from highspeed traffic, one conquers the secondary roads of which many are not mapped at all. Low populated areas and long distances will force one to good management of water and food supplies. My kind of photography more or less forced me to engage in cycling and survival sports, even-temperedly accepting the elements for what they are.
On these pages you'll find some of my adventurious stories as well as those of my friends. Try to discover trekking for yourself. Good photographs will come your way.
